How Does it Work?
Virbac Tapewormer for cats and dogs is to be used as a single dosage treatment. It contains a powerful ingredient called Praziquantel that eliminates tapeworms. This ingredient prevents gastrointestinal infection in dogs and cats. It kills tapeworms and controls tapeworm infection. Moreover, the ingredient protects dogs and cats from recurring tapeworm infested diseases.
- Before starting the treatment, weigh dogs and cats.
- According to the bodyweight of a dog and cat, appropriate number of tablets should be given.
- Virbac Tapewormer should be used as a single dose treatment.
- One tablet treats 10 kgs.
- Administer the tablet as a whole or crush and mix it in food.
- For tapeworms, all pets should be treated at an interval of three months commencing at 3 months of age.
- In Hydatid prone regions deworm dogs and cats every 6 weeks.
- For other worms, treat every 3 months regularly and simultaneously, treat your pets for fleas also.
- For pregnant bitches and queens treat prior to mating, 10 days before and 4 weeks after birth and then every 3 months.
Dosage
Dogs:
1 tablet per 10kg bodyweight
Cats:
1/4 tablet under 1.5kg bodyweight
1/2 tablet from 1.6 to 5kg bodyweight
3/4 tablet over 5kg bodyweight
