Promectin Plus is an efficient broad spectrum wormer for the treatment of internal parasites including Tapeworms, Large strongyles, Small strongyles, Ascarids, Hairworm, Large mouthed stomach worm, Neck threadworm, Bots, Lungworm, and Intestinal threadworm. The oral paste is also effective in controlling skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia sp., and summer sores. The oral paste is highly effective against tapeworms and other species of tapeworms. The concentrated formula is safe for ponies and mares and has no known side effects.

How does it work?

Promectin Plus Allwormer Paste has broad spectrum efficacy. It contains two major ingredients – Abamectin and Praziquantel. The key ingredient Abamectin acts on insects by interfering with neural and neuromuscular transmission. It works on a specific type of synapse located only within the brain and is protected by the blood-brain barrier and thus kills the parasites. Praziquantel – the other key ingredient is highly effective against tapeworms. It treats and controls tapeworms and prevents further infections.
