Blue Planet Aquarium Tonic Salt 300g
Blue Planet Aquarium Tonic Salt is a natural remedy for freshwater fish to improve their health and wellbeing. As it is derived from seawater, it adds essential electrolytes to water and provides saltwater species with necessary nutrients and minerals, including sodium and calcium, that are essential for fish to maintain healthy gill function and osmoregulation to help support aquatic life with great, everyday health.
Blue Planet Aquarium Tonic Salt can also be used to hatch brine shrimp eggs and recharge ammonia absorbing (zeolite) material.
- As a general tonic for fish, use Blue Planet Aquarium Tonic Salt at the rate of 1g/L of aquarium water by dissolving it in a small quantity of aquarium water before adding it to the aquarium.
- To hatch brine shrimp eggs, use Blue Planet Aquarium Tonic Salt at the rate of 40g/L of water
- To recharge ammonia absorbing (zeolite) materials, use Blue Planet Aquarium Tonic Salt at the rate of 80g per 250mL of warm tap water. Use this solution to recharge each 60g – 80g of Zeolite material by soaking the Zeolite in the salt solution for 2 hours, then rinsing lightly in tap water before using it in the aquarium.
