Ultramax Equine is a multi-spectrum worming treatment that destroys internal parasites found in horses. It is highly effective in killing and controlling tapeworms, hairworms, threadworms, lungworms, pinworms, arterial stages of bloodworms (Strongylus vulgaris) and bots. It protects horses from parasitic disorders and diseases caused by internal parasites.
How it works?Ivermectin and praziquantel are the active ingredients of Ultramax Equine. Ivermectin is endectocide that destroys invertebrate parasites by blocking their ion channels. It causes hyperpolarisation of nerve and muscle cells that causes paralysis and death of the parasite. Praziquantel disrupts tapeworms by causing muscle contraction. The combined action of both the ingredients destroys worms and bots in horses.
